Abby taking advantage

Abby thought Kate needed a little decoration.

Easter

Kate got here just in time for Easter and this year Abby was old enough to hunt eggs and she caught on real quick to the idea. We went to the Summerlin's house for lunch after church and hunted some eggs over there and then we had another hunt at the church that night.  Here are some pics.

We had to stop a minute and line all of our eggs up on the swing.

Abby's friend Lillian.  These two have grown very fond of each other.

Jill holding Kate.  She was two weeks old and didn't seem to care about all the festivities.

They got stickers in their eggs and thought they should decorate the dog.  Look closely at his nose.

Egg hunt round 2.  She was ready to go now that she understood the concept.

Kate's first Easter

Abigail's 2nd birthday

Abby turned two a week after Kate was born and we had a farm themed birthday party at the trailer.  We had a long list of family that came over:  Gramma J, Granddad and Grandma B, Uncle Lyle, Uncle Q and Amy, Uncle Will and Aunt Pam and cousin Kylie, Uncle Brian and Aunt Jen, Aunt Sarah, Susie and the kids, Eric and Annie and Kevin.  Aunt Gayla came by that night after her UIL meet.

Abby and Kylie had fun playing with the rocks.

I never could get her to smile for a picture with her cake.

Olivia Kate Burnett

Trying to play catch up now that I am on a computer.

Our newest member of the family, Miss Olivia Kate Burnett, was born on April 7, at 7:50 pm, and weighed in at 9 pounds 10 ounces and was about 20 inches long.  I say about because at her pediatrician appointment five days later she was an inch and a half longer.  I don't think she could've grown that much in five days.
Big sister Abby is very proud and doing really well not to smother her with too many sugars.  Here are some pics of our beautiful girls.

If only Abby would let me pull her hair back.

Its Christmas Time

Some pictures of Abby helping me put up the christmas tree (or chee as she says).

Giving sugars to her snowman or now called "mama"

Giving thanks for trees

I remember how fun it was playing in the leaves and making big piles when I was little and Abby loves it too.  She likes to shuffle her feet through them, and luckily Grandma and Grandad have lots of them in their front yard.  A cold front was blowing in so the wind was terrible but she still had fun.

She loves to play with the pups.

Such a happy girl when she is outside.

This one below is my favorite.

The horses came up close to the back fence so we went to
see them since she can sound just like them.  It is her best
animal sound.

She wants to hug them.

Fall Fun

Well I am finally getting to put up some more pictures if the computer cooperates.  Since July, we have sold our house and moved back to the farm.  Jason is having to commute to South everyday, but at least football season is over and he can get home at a decent hour.

We took Abby to the pumpkin patch and she had a lot of fun looking at all the different sized pumpkins.
She was Tinkerbell for Halloween and we went up to our church's trunk or treat and she got a lot of good candy for pregnant mommy to snack on.

Some of these posts may not be in order because I am trying to catch up the last few months, but here are some new pictures.
